The Legionella PCR is used to detect and quantify Legionella in waters, this is a rapid and reliable alternative method to culture.
The quantification step requires to establish a standard curve from a measurement standard and interlaboratory studies pointed out that the variability in testing can be reduced by the use of a common DNA standard.
This material is intended for the calibration of secondary and/or working measurement standards used to quantify Legionella DNA concentration.
